THIRD GRADE MUSIC

January 2024 Update

Third grade music is the culmination of all the music skills we have developed thus far from PreK through 2nd grades.  Students understand note values, rhythms, steady beat, and expression. They have now made the step to read music notes on a staff and to play our recorders.  I am very proud of their progress.  Some of their favorite songs are One Bright Star, Jolly Old St Nicholas, Skin and Bones, and Old MacDonald.
